One Nation One Subscription (ONOS)
The One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) initiative by the Government of India aims to provide nationwide access to high-impact international scholarly journals and research publications for students, faculty, and researchers across higher education and R&D institutions. Inspired by the vision of “Jai Anusandhan” and aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, ONOS supports research-driven growth in the Amrit Kaal.The scheme offers access to over 13,430 e-journals from 32 major international publishers, along with Indian open access journals. It also includes centralized Article Processing Charge (APC) support for selected high-quality open access journals. Additionally, under the Read-and-Publish agreement, institutions gain premium access to the Association for Computing Machinery Digital Library, enabling unlimited open access publishing without APCs for affiliated authors.
